Description
Holly is a beautiful girl that needs more than we can offer. She ideally needs an household with adults only or older teen children. She has had some problems with resource guarding which has made us feel unsafe for us with her around our younger children. She needs someone that can offer her love and time that has experience with training. 90% of the time she is the most wonderful affectionate girl but we have 1 child with ASD who struggles with risk understanding so when she growls he doesn't understand. We have spoken to a dog behaviour specialist who recommended rehoming as the behaviours Holly shows are usual dog behaviours however with the mix of those behaviours and our son not understanding the growl meaning leave her alone we are fearful she may go to far. She is incredibly clever friendly to visitors and out on walks. She is a little nervous of other dogs but is usually happy to have a sniff and greet them but ideally needs a home where she is the only dog as when family have brought their dogs round she is distressed and nervous. We want Holly to go to a wonderful home as this is a devastating goodbye for our family as she is a loved part of our family but we can no longer manage her with our son.
