Rebel is amazing in every way. He is safe as houses and a true little gent. Unfortunately, my children have lost interest. He’s been hacked many times on the lead rein and he’s been amazing every time.
Rebel has been on part loan for the past 7 months where a 7 year old little girl catches him, changes his rug and handles him comfortably by herself - she was a complete novice when coming to us. He was also as placid whilst riding with her and helping her confidence grow. Unfortunately, his loaners are not in a position to buy him and where my children are still not interested, it has led to this decision.
Our facilities are very limited at our yard therefore please bear in mind, he is still young and green himself. My children have mostly just hacked him in walk. He has been foot perfect with everything we have asked of him. As you can see, the children have ridden him off the lead rein (quite a few times) and he’s been a gem. However he is still green and hasn’t been regularly ridden through his paces. A friend of mine who is a lightweight rider has also got on his back and he was green, but safe.
Rebel is barefoot and easy to keep. He is a good doer in every way.
Rebel is cheeky and has a big personality that anyone will fall in love with.
Rebel hasn’t ever been turned out alone, nor do I think he would like it. Multiple people have asked me this question which is why I’m putting it in the advert.
To emphasise, he is being sold as a lead rein pony - his price reflects the fact he is green off the lead rein. I do feel with a confident little jockey on board it wouldn’t take a lot to bring him on.
