We had a hatch of over 80 Jumbo Cortunix chicks on Monday August 18th & we now have 37 chicks left as the others have gone to new homes over the weekend.
The chicks will need to live under heat till 3wks old then live at room temperature till 6wks old, They are also eating chick crumb which they will need till 8wks old.
They will need to either be feather sexed at 4-6wks old vent sexed at 8-10wks old.
Quails are flock living birds so must live in groups, Chicks especially need lots of company & they will get lonely & die so chicks are to go in groups of 6 or more.
Chicks are sold as below & for any extra chicks then £5 each chick.
6 chicks £25
12 chicks £50
18 chicks £70
24 chicks £90
30 chicks £110
All 37 chicks £120.
Chick crumb is 1.5kg bag for £3 or 2 bags if 1.5kg £5.
We also have 1 male & 2 female Jumbo Quails available that are 5wk old.
Females are £15 each,Males are £6 each, this group of 3 are £35 !
Collection is from Wiltshire the southwest of the country & we are just 10-15mins from
Longleat.
We can also bring the quails to you but upto 30mins away from ourselves for a small fee, A Deposit of half is required at time of order then rest to be paid once we arrive.
For collection a deposit is required at time of booking your chicks if we are holding for more than 24hrs due to time wasters & no shows.
