Description

We are very excited to introduce five rather extraordinary little kittens, lovingly home-bred from our own much-adored family cats. Both Mum and Dad are our pets, live here with us and can be seen. Mum, Otty, is a beautiful, registered lilac golden British Shorthair with a wonderfully plush coat and striking chartreuse eyes — an exquisite shade of yellow-green. Dad, Lyron, is our exceptionally handsome golden boy, believed to be a golden ticked tabby. He has predominantly British Shorthair ancestry with Khao Manee influence, giving him a distinctive, more elegant body shape, beautiful golden eyes and an extraordinary rich golden coat. His colour genetics are awaiting confirmation through DNA testing. This pairing brings together the beautiful golden colouring and plush coats associated with British Shorthairs, alongside the more elegant physical characteristics seen in Lyron’s Khao Manee ancestry. And the resulting babies are already quite something! All five are developing beautiful golden coats, ranging from very pale champagne to rich, deep fox-gold. Several have distinctive striped tails, just like their father, and we’re fascinated to see how their colours, markings and coat textures develop. They are already wonderfully fluffy, thriving and enjoying their gentle daily cuddles and handling. These babies are being raised in our family home, surrounded by everyday family life, with plenty of love and attention. We will be keeping one kitten ourselves, with the remaining four available to carefully selected homes. We are only inviting expressions of interest at this stage. The kittens are still very young, and their final colours, coat types and individual personalities are developing. We plan to keep them until approximately 16 weeks old, allowing plenty of time with Mum and their siblings before they leave for their new families. They will leave with age-appropriate veterinary care, vaccinations, microchipping, flea and worming treatments, and their health documentation. Indicative prices: £1,200 for the golden kittens without prominent tail markings. £1,500 for those with distinctive striped tails. Final prices and individual availability will be confirmed as the kittens develop. We are in absolutely no rush and will only consider wonderful, permanent homes where these much-loved babies will be cherished. If you’d like to register your interest, please tell us a little about yourself and the home you could offer. We look forward to sharing their development over the coming weeks! ❤️
