🐶 Meet Jessie 🐶
Jessie is an approximately 5-month-old Terrier mix puppy, currently being fostered with her brother in Gloucestershire, in an adult family home with other dogs and visiting grandchildren.
Jessie came into our care from a UK stray pound after she was found dumped with her brother. Sadly, nobody came forward to claim them. We suspect they may have been unsold puppies discarded once they were no longer “tiny” — a heartbreaking but all-too-common story.

Jessie is the more confident of the two siblings — a happy, bouncy, affectionate little pup who approaches life with enthusiasm. She is exactly what you’d expect from a young dog of her age: curious, playful, and full of joy.

As we’ve gotten to know Jessie, it’s clear she is a very confident and intelligent puppy.
She has already shown impressive problem-solving skills and athletic ability — including working out how to escape her pen by climbing onto her crate and jumping over! Because of this, we think she could make a fantastic agility prospect in the right hands. She is expected to be small and may develop a longer coat, which is already absolutely stunning.
Jessie is very friendly with people, but she can become over-excited, giving enthusiastic “bitey kisses” when she’s happy. For this reason, we cannot home her with children of primary school age.
Her foster carers have done a wonderful job with her. Over ******************, Jessie has mixed with lots of people, different dogs, and has even visited the pub, where she charmed everyone she met. She really is a cracking little dog — confident, social, and full of potential.
Jessie is looking for an active,
committed home, ideally with:
Experience of terrier breeds
Other friendly dogs
Commitment to training, socialisation, and positive guidance
Someone who understands that puppies need time, patience, and consistency
A home where she won’t be left alone for long hours
Jessie is also a little smiler — her happy expression says it all 💛
She is too young to be spayed, but this will be a requirement of the adoption agreement when she is old enough. For this reason, we cannot home her with entire dogs.
