Unfortunately, due to his loud noise and difficult personality, I came to decision to rehome my rescue Conure. He is DNA tested. I am looking for an experienced and loving person, who will be able to prove, that the home is acceptable and that they have time and patience for him as he is very challenging. He had his previous owner for first 3years, he was untamed and scared of hands, people. Often just sat in the cage under the cover for silence. I rescued him and tamed him to my shoulder, can take him outdoors, but thats a little tricky as he wont come back when called- he is having a huge personality. He could fit a single person household, also he got frustrated from other pets if they are looking at him, but if, for example my dog is not bothered about him, he will be fine. He seems, like he is having a lots of traumas in his life. He is scared from almost anything, so I started to show him the life. He enjoys that, however, when left home with the rest of my family members, he screams for attention and shows aggression when they approach. He may bite little children:( His behavior is challenging to a point where I am giving up and looking to rehome him. Unfortunately, all my family hates him, but he would never bite me and when home is quite, he is calm and even cuddly with me. This is definitely a first time bird, neither the second. Someone who has wide experience with conures or similar birds would be preferred.
