Since arriving in our care, Chicle has flourished. He loves everybody; adults, children and all of the other dogs.
Chicle loves to go out for walks and really enjoys scentwork and playing with the other dogs.
Chicle is a miracle Breton who is obedient and comes when you call him, however, recall must be established before allowing any dog off lead and will also very much depend on their environment.
Chicle is in assessment. He will be available from his foster home in Camberley, Surrey from 23rd July.
Chicle will be shortly be in foster with another Breton, a young orange and white girl called Mildred who is also available for adoption.
Chicle was not good with the hens at the shelter and this should be considered if an applicant has birds or small furries.
BACKGROUND:
Chicle was collected by the municipal pound in Spain when found abandoned. Chicle was most likely a hunting dog. He wasn't having a good time in the pound so got him out.
Chicle is a Brittany (Called a Breton in Europe) A European gun dog breed.

All of our dogs have an international passport (unless born in the UK) and are microchipped. They are fully vaccinated for standard diseases as well as rabies and kennel cough. All dogs are blood tested for infectious diseases including Leishmaniasis, Dirofilaria, Ehrlichia, Babesia, Anaplasma, Lyme and Brucella. All dogs, unless there are medical or behavioural reasons to not do so, will be sterilised. Chicle is neutered. Please note that we will advise results and treatments upon successful application.
