Description
This is Phoenix, he is a 5month old dapple dachshund and is such a lovely pup. We have tried for the last two months to make it work with our older dog however it has become too difficult to keep them apart. Phoenix just wants to play and be a puppy but our older dog isn't very happy with a bouncy pup round his heels and just wants to be left alone, this is too stressful for our older dog. Phoenix is a happy,playful puppy who loves cuddles and a fuss, he has a lovely temperament. He has been well socialised and brought up around children,cats and dogs. Phoenix is crate trained and toilet trained however may have the odd accident,more so at night,knows basic commands, sit,paw,wait, come etc.He needs some training with the lead but is highly motivated with treats. He is all up to date with vaccinations,flea and wormer and is microchipped. He can come with his bowls,lead/collar, toys and bed etc, if you would like these. This has been a difficult decision but feel its whats best for phoenix and for us. we are looking for 750 but are open to offers for the right, loving home.

Cons
Not the best choice for first time owners because Dachshunds often have a mind of their own
Care must be taken with puppies because they must not be allowed to jump up or down from anywhere because it could damage their backs and joints
They are prone to putting on too much weight if not given enough daily exercise
