I have a colony of 8 female mice (some normal and some semi-long coat) wwho run with a naked male,
They are kept in a semi natural way with burrowing space, cork bark tunnels and hides under the substrate (thet make their own burrows and dens),
They are fed a mice of dry cat food, wild bird seed, mouse muesli mix, parrot mix and a small rodent pellet.
They also get meal and wax worms as well as reptile jelly pots and fresh fruit and veggies, They are quite an easy pet and do gwt used to handling quick if done properly but they are just as fun to keep in a colony and watch them do their thing.
Females can be kept as one big group and do extermly well due to being sociable, they do sometimes squable but that is them forming a heirachy, unfortunetly males don't share the same virtues and most of the time do fall out and don't do well in pairs or group settings (unless neutered) I don't mind selling or trading with other breeders just can't do f & m pairs or groups as i only have the one colony,
I do pairs for £15 or anything over a pair I ask for £5 a mouse.
