I have one male puppy available from a litter of seven well grown, impeccably bred English Springer Spaniels
KC Name; Delphox Jumpin’ Jive
He is a dark liver and white dog puppy who has received his vet check, vaccine and microchip.
DNA clear by parentage of PRA(cord1), Fucosidiosis, AMS.PFK,DM,FN.
His parents have also been eye tested both PRA unaffected and Gonio 0/0
As well as this both parents have been hip and elbow scored, I’ve looked around the various litters and they will be the most extensively tested in the country at the moment.
Jumpin Jive is a well grown boy weighing at 4.5kg, he’s got a heavy muzzle and good bone, straight legs and he moves extremely well for an 8 week old. He is gentle mouthed and very sweet natured, he is active and playful but not silly and he is a bit of a thinker. This guy would suit a working or active pet home, I think he would settle into either life and be as happy going to the beach then pub as he would be beating on a shoot day. He’s a real sweet little gentleman and definitely deserves a visit to show off his temperament. Both mum and grandad can be seen.
All other puppies have either left or about to leave for their new homes (these puppies have not gone locally some are as far south as Oxford and as north as Falkirk) I am keeping one black and white female who was the reason for this wonderful litter.
He was fully vet checked on the 14th of August by Cheviot vets in Kelso where they gave him a clean bill of health,

He has lovely markings with a nice dark liver and a cute spot and freckles on his nose, he has the perfect coat/colour for a flashy trialing dog, which he’d be perfect suited to.
Twist the dam is the 6th generation of working ESS in our family, her line is mostly Scottish and is very much one of working rather than trialling this gives her a natural ability and intelligence which has made her stand out from when she was a puppy, nothing was forced about her upbringing and her training was very much a natural progression, she was never intended to go on to test and trial but you can’t not show off a dog like her, taking her out was never a chore or a worry. Twist is consistent and always wants to work with you, she is a favourite of the guns and at trials the feedback is always the same, ‘that’s the kind of dog I want to shoot over!’ she’s extremely powerful and has stamina in the toughest terrain, her retrieving and ability to be handled make walked-up days fun, she’s even known to get an applause or two! We have been looking for a very long time to find a dog to use on Twist, trying to combine a mating for a summer litter so as not to interfere with the shooting season has also been a challenge. We travelled over 6 hours to Robbie ‘Sperrinside McGregor’ after pouring over countless pedigrees and health results, I spoke to Rebecca about Robbie’s nature and her description of him won us over, he’s a lovely natured gentle soul who is silent in work and in the house/kennels. Robbie is also a good sized powerful dog but has a calm personality which is invaluable when you spend so much time/work with your dog. Robbie has proven himself in the trialling field having won many awards and now has progressed to open trials. Rebecca at Greenfox hopes to take this further and can see the makings of a champion, his pedigree is impressive and is full of red.
Both Twist and Robbie have every health test required and then some, they have perfect eye results and Robbie has an extremely low hip score.
I have a HUGE stash of photos of this litter, and generations of the line, we are so proud of our excellent ESS breeding lines and have a brilliant record of all their achievements, there won’t be manY ESS puppies where as much thought, time and love has gone into producing them.
