Description

This is my boy Exter. He’s 1 year old (born on 1/4/2024 and is a German shepherd/Husky mix. This is the hardest decision I’ve ever had to make but my living situation has changed and I’ve had to move home, somewhere which isn’t suitable for him anymore. It’s way too small for his needs and doesn’t have a garden. He’s a very energetic, bouncy boy who needs a lot of time and attention. He’s good with other dogs and can live with cats. He can’t live with young kids as he tends to jump and can be mouthy with them. He does pull on the lead and he is very strong so he needs someone who could handle this and work on getting him trained to walk nicely. He does walk a lot better with a head collar on though. He is good off lead as long as there’s no other dogs around because he will run up to them. Otherwise his recall is pretty spot on. He is also crate trained and can be left 5/6 hours with no issues. He travels well in the car too. He LOVES water! I would prefer that he goes to someone who has a decent sized garden for him to burn off some of his energy when he’s not out. Also someone who has experience with the breed would be ideal. I just want the best for my boy. He weighs just over 36kg so someone strong who can walk him and train him better on lead. Like I said this has been such a hard decision and I really don’t want to do this but he deserves the best life possible which I currently cannot provide for him. I will be doing home checks etc to make sure he goes to the best new home possible! Rehoming fee applies. If you’re genuinely interested in giving him a home or if you have any questions don’t hesitate to give me a message!
