12.2hh, 16 year old Mare Welsh Mountain Pony x Arab Annie-May is looking for her new home.
She has been my daughters best friend for the last 3 years but is now sadly outgrown. Annie has won more red rossettes that we ever imagined possible.
She is NOT a first pony as she is keen and fast. She would be a fantastic PC/Unaffiliated/Games pony for a competent child who wants to win. She is quick against the clock & turns on a sixpence all you need to do is sit, hold & steer. She is however strong when it comes to jumping therefore she is more a second pony. She will not be suited to a nervous rider. She does however have brakes.
She is good as gold out hacking & will go first or last, my 12 year old daughter can take her out & onto the mountain by herself.
She is good to bath,clip,shoe,box (only been on a trailer with us) and is good in all traffic. Currently only shod on her fronts. Upto date with everything. Currently in a large mixed herd.
She does have mild sweet itch in summer but this is nothing a fly rug doesn’t sort out.
Annie has taught my daughter how to ride & given her lots of confidence. She is currently kept on a competition yard & jumps twice a month. We have been extremely lucky with Annie and are always in the red ribbons. She has qualified 2 years running for the Sunshine Tour from 55cm-70cm classes. This year she has won our local competitive league showjumping 55cm,60cm & 65cm classes. We are currently jumping 70cm competition classes with her & she does have scope to go higher with a smaller rider than my daughter.
We have kept in touch with her previous owners as they are local to us. In her previous home she hunted, did some pony racing & regularly attended PC camps & stay aways. She was also in this home 3 years until outgrown.
This is a very sad sale for us & i have been putting this advert off for months but it is now her time to go make another child happy. She is fit & ready to go.
