Sweetie is 4 years old, and medium in size (35cm to her shoulders). She is currently the only dog in her household (foster home), but may benefit from a canine friend. She cannot live with cats or small furries.
When Sweetie first meets new people, she can be a little bit nervous of them. However, once she knows you're safe, she is very playful and loving towards you.
This pretty lady is a very intelligent girl who enjoys interacting with other friendly and playful dogs. She also walks well on the lead, but can lack confidence in new surroundings, so she needs a good bond with her humans before being challenged with too many new things in her life.
In the home, Sweetie is able to keep herself entertained with her basket of toys. She is used to being left alone while her humans go to work, and copes well with this.
Sweetie responds well to commands and will 'sit', give a 'paw' and wait for her reward/food.
During her time with her foster family, Sweetie has not had much interaction with young children. Due to her tendency to lack confidence with unpredictable things, we think she’d be best in an adult household (or perhaps with older, calm children).
Sweetie is a lovely girl, but her lack of confidence means she needs someone with experience in dealing with dogs who may be reactive when they become unsure about something.
