Description

Pippa is a large hound mix, 1 year old. Very comfortable around other dogs. She would benefit from living with another large dog, but can be an ‘only dog’ also. No cats or small furries (rabbits etc.). She will need a medium/large size garden. Can live with children 12 years and older. Pippa is the sweetest and softest girl you will ever meet. Don’t be fooled by her size; she’s a big softie!! She sleeps throughout the night in her crate without a peep! She’s able to be left alone in the house for a few hours. She walks well on the lead and responds to “here” to continue walking. Very comfortable around other dogs. She would benefit with another large dog within the household to have lots of fun with. However she can be the only dog in the home. She loves to play with toys and will keep herself entertained. She’s constantly smiling as you can see by the pictures! She loves a cuddle in the evening and a nap on the sofa in the day. She loves a good brush, I’m pretty sure she would lie there for hours! She needs some training for “lie down”, “paw” etc., however she’s learning this very quickly. She can be a little bit stubborn, and she's very determined so will need a strong willed human. Pippa is good with children, but due to her size we believe she’d be better living with children over 12 years of age. If you're interested in potentially adopting Pippa, please complete an adoption form (LINK BELOW) to discuss her further with Amicii’s Rehoming Team. We cannot always respond to messages on Pets4Homes in a timely manner, and so please complete a form if you're interested in discussing any of our dogs with us. This will reduce your chance of missing out on adopting a dog you’ve fallen in love with.
