Description
We are having to rehome our 4 year old sprocker spaniel, our son was diagnosed with cancer & we are spending so much time in hospital & will continue to do so for the foreseeable future. Which is not fair on him, and we don’t have any family that can help us out with him, he is 4 very energetic but an absolute beautiful soul brilliant with kids as I have 3 children myself hes a little frightened of other dogs initially however once the first 5 minutes are over he will play all day long! Absolutely loves a ball literally falls asleep with one in his mouth. He does pittle when he greets new people (excited wees) other than this fully house trained. Loves loves a good old walk or shall I say run! Pulls an awful lot on the lead we have done several training classes with him but he still pulls however if you use a slip lead over his nose he doesn’t pull whatsoever. Can be food aggressive but this only seems to be with men. He’s a little anxious of men at first but again after the initial greeting will absolutely adore you. He’s crate trained also however doesn’t need to be in one we just leave his open all the time as he enjoys sleeping in there. He prefers a nice fleece blanket over a bed not sure why he just won’t lie on one. Has a sensitive stomach and the only food that agrees with him is pedigree tins in jelly he gets one tin twice a day & also any pedigree treats. I’ve lost his injections card however I do have photographs of them I can send over. Flead & wormed regularly. Based in Durham will only go to someone who can give him the time & love he deserves
