🐾Kobe (formerly Milo) is a stunning almost 4 -year-old male German Shorthaired Pointer (Kurzhaar) – medium-sized, graceful, and full of soul. Originally known as Milo, this beautiful boy has been in the UK for 10 months and has been loved in his current home. Sadly, despite their devotion, his family feel they can no longer meet his needs and wish for him to find the life he truly deserves — full of freedom, joy, and adventure.

His current family wrote to us with heavy hearts:
“Kobe is a lovely dog with a wonderful temperament, but he needs more than I can provide. His strong hunting instincts mean he requires daily off-lead exercise in a secure area, and unfortunately, I’m finding it increasingly difficult to meet those needs. He’d be much better suited to a more experienced dog owner — someone confident with large, strong dogs, ideally with a large, secure garden and the ability to give him the freedom and stimulation he deserves.”

Kobe is a dream companion for anyone who loves the outdoors. He’s affectionate, bright, and always ready for an adventure. Indoors, he’s calm and well-mannered — a true gentleman who enjoys relaxing near his people. Outdoors, he comes alive, curious and eager to explore, nose to the ground and tail wagging happily.
He’s house-trained, knows basic commands, and walks well on the lead — though like all Pointers, he thrives on safe off-lead freedom to burn energy and satisfy his natural instincts. He responds beautifully to recall and a whistle, showing both intelligence and loyalty.
Kobe loves to play fetch and retrieve, enjoys his toys, and is food-motivated — making further training fun and rewarding. He’s great in the car, calm in his crate, and loves travelling for countryside walks or holidays away.

“Kobe has been an absolute joy to have in our home. He’s a loving boy with a gentle heart and a beautiful soul, full of energy and enthusiasm. He loves to play, explore, and be part of whatever’s going on, and he’s always happiest when surrounded by people. He would be best suited to a home with older children who can match his playful spirit (and size!) and appreciate his affectionate nature.”

Kobe would thrive in an active, loving home where he is truly part of the family. He would be happiest with people who can give him plenty of outdoor adventures, daily walks, and mental stimulation. A home with large enough secure garden or access to safe off-lead exercise areas would be ideal, as he loves to stretch his legs and explore. He would suit confident, dog-savvy owners who understand active breeds and enjoy spending time outdoors. Kobe could live happily with another friendly dog or be the adored centre of attention as the only pet. Most of all, he needs a family who will include him in their lives — walking, playing, relaxing together — and give him the freedom, love, and structure he so deserves.
