One of our working Border Collie has self-whelped a lovely litter of eleven (yes, that was a surprise!) Border Collie pups. They are a mixture of black and white or red and white.
The pups come from a line we have had at the farm for a few generations and mum is one of our core workers on the farm. Dad came from a farm in Cumbria that we have had a number of dogs from over the years. He is registered.
The pups have been socialised with other dogs (including other breeds) and children. They have also been introduced to sheep to see which have a natural potential for working the breed. They would be great for those wanting to do agility, hill walking, jogging, etc with their dog.
The pups available in this litter (denoted by last two digits of the microchip):
Girl *54: This girl is really playful and such a friendly pup. She is interested in learning.
Girl *55: A black and white girl, she is a very friendly, sweet girl. She does like to discover new things, so will no doubt keep you on your toes.
Boy *56: This lad is known for his exploring skills and wags his tail a lot. He is also a smart, quick learner.
Boy *57: This boy is like his mum: black and white. He makes friends easily and loves to play.
Boy 58: (PENDING) This handsome lad is red, tan and white. He is a really confident boy, a real inquisitive explorer.
Boy *59: This red and white male loves to climb (he climbed up and down the quadbike instead of sitting for his photo.
Boy *60: A fabulous lively boy, who bounces everywhere and loves to play. He's pretty smart too.
Boy *61: This boy is light red and white. He is a really handsome fellow. He enjoys meeting other dogs, although he is probably the quietest of the litter.
Girl *62: (RESERVED) This girl is a family favourite. We have nicknamed her Foxy as there is definitely something foxy about her. She is the smallest of the litter but wonderful blue eyes and such a cutie.
Girl 63: This girl is a darker red and white. She is a bit timid, yet inquisitive and very friendly.
Girl *64: This girl is really friendly and likes a cuddle. She is a beautiful light red and white.

Next steps:
It is very important to us that our pups go to the best homes. If you have experience with the breed, that's a plus, but really we are looking for active homes that are willing to work with their dog to make it the best it can be. Border Collies are a fantastic breed and we have had pets and working dogs over the years. However, they do often come with a herding instinct so it is important to commit to channeling that amazing trait into something positive. Collies don't appreciate boredom.
We ask all enquiries to complete a questionnaire so we can help match the right pup with the right home. You are welcome to meet the pups with their parents. We are also happy to do video calls in the first instance but potential owners do need to pick up their pups in person.
The pups are available unless they have RESERVED (deposit paid) or SOLD next to them. PENDING means the dog is being considered by potential owners.
We also have a waiting list for future litters if you want to be added to that.
