We are sadly looking to rehome Lexi, a loving and affectionate dog who has been part of our family for a few months. We adopted her after losing our previous dog, hoping she would be the perfect companion. Unfortunately, the previous owner was not fully honest about her needs and behaviour… She does have separation anxiety that needs ongoing support and management.
Both Lexi and our resident dog have very strong, dominant personalities, and despite our best efforts, they struggle to live peacefully together. It’s become clear that this situation is unfair to both dogs. Lexiis pushing our other dog out of her own home, causing stress and tension for them both.
We believe she deserves a home where she can be the only pet, ideally with someone experienced who can provide her with the calm, structured environment she needs, and help her work through her separation anxiety. She needs to be the only dog and I would advise she doesn’t live with children under 10
She loves cuddles, belly rubs, playing with toys, and enjoys socialising with other dogs during walks. She has a strong recall and is a devoted companion when she feels secure.
We are heartbroken but committed to finding her a patient and understanding home where she can truly thrive.
