Description
Dash - around 13hh, 13yr old, part bred new forest, bay gelding. Looking for new 🏡 based in Sheffield.
Only the best homes will be considered for this pony. No day time dreamers serious enquiries only as this is already hard enough.
Dash was bought for my two girls aged 4 and 14 where he has proved to be an amazing little pony. Unfortunately the girls have lost interest so he is now looking for a new 🏡 due to no fault of his own.
We have owned dash for nearly 4 years where he has done
* pony club
* Small local shows
* Showjumped
He has been out of work now for around 6 months so will need starting again. He is ridden in a happy mouth. He will happily pop a 50cm course with room to go up. He hacks alone and in company not much phases this boy! He is good in the school. He can live in or out, he’s currently in at night out during the day.
Good to catch, load, clip, tie up and for the farrier (he has front shoes on) he’s good to bath although he doesn’t like his face been washed.
He is upto date with worming but his vaccinations need restarting he has previously had all vaccines. He does have sweet itch but this can be managed with creams and lotions. He has previously had sweet itch injections but these wasn’t required last summer.
Dash is NOT FOR A NOVICE he would suit an experienced older child or a small adult. The reason for this is that he can have his stroppy moments! He’s never dangerous but he will throw a strop - small bucks and occasionally throws the odd bronk in. Happy to discuss this further. He needs somebody who has very gentle hands as a tug on his mouth will result in him sticking his head to the floor and refusing to work with you.
Dash will only go to the best home who we beleive is right for him. He just wants loving and time putting into him and he will be the perfect little pony.
He can come with his full wardrobe 2500 or without 2000.
