Description

Hi, please read this entire post, and comment if you think you’d like to help so I contact you directly. I have a 1 year old female Rottweiler who needs a new home. This isn’t an easy decision for me to make, but it’s the one that has her best interest at heart. She’s absolutely obsessed with me, she follows me around and just wants to be near me all the time. Due to unexpected changes in my health over the past couple of months, it’s only fair on her that she is with someone who can give her the training and time she really deserves, so I’m looking for someone who has that time and patience to take her on and train her. She was 1 in October. She Has had one season and is not neutered. She is quite an anxious dog. I’ve seen 2 dog trainers with her and they both come back with that same conclusion. She walks well on a lead, and doesn’t bother people, but she barks a lot when in the car at people walking past. She also doesn’t like too much fuss, and can get nippy with people when being stroked. Sje engaged with people, and wants the attention, but gets overwhelmed and then nips. The dog trainer says it could be a genetic trait but that’s not known for definite. She has never bit anyone aggressively, and will ignore people around her if they don’t interact with her. She needs someone with space for her to run and play, or time to take her on long walks, she also needs someone who will be patient and spend time working on her anxiety around people. She currently lives in a house with 2 teenagers, but I would say that she would be better in an adult household. She is friendly with other dogs. She lives with another dog who is much older than her and they get on fine. If you’d like more info, or like to have a chat about her, please comment and I’l drop you a message privately. We are located in Buckinghamshire, but I am happy to travel with her for the perfect home. Thank you for reading.
