Description
Reluctantly selling my adult female T Apophysis due to two curious cats. It would be a shame to keep her hidden away for safety when she could instead be the centrepiece of a collection or home.
Captive bred 2019, purchased by myself in 2021. Confirmed adult female via multiple molts, last molt in June 2025, unknown exact DLS but she is a very very big girl. Stunning colouration with a full, healthy abdomen and no missing urticating hairs — she is very calm, never stressed, and frequently sits out on display.
Never shown threat postures in my care but due to her size she is not handled.
Has molted successfully multiple times with no issues. Feeds extremely well on a variety of invert prey with an occasional thawed pinky post-moult only to support recovery.
Comes complete with a large bioactive Exo Terra wide enclosure which she fills out very well (60×45×30), including drainage layers, substrate, cork bark hide, driftwood, live moss etc. Bioactive system is established with occasional springtail/isopod top-ups.
This is a very large, powerful species and is suitable only for experienced keepers or those who have thoroughly researched her care.
UK captive bred. Collection preferred due to size but can deliver if not too far. Any additional pictures please ask, viewings welcomed.
