Meet our 9-month-old Jackapoo, who is currently living with two adults, a 7-year-old boy, and a 1-year-old girl.
He's absolutely brilliant with both children!
He's a playful and affectionate boy who loves to be part of the family.
However, we're very honest about his needs.
He is a loving boy with a lot of potential, but also some significant training needs, that due to current commitments, we're unfortunately unable to provide.
We're looking for an experienced and patient owner who is ready for a rewarding challenge.
He is a sweet and great dog indoors, but he requires extensive training and consistent effort to overcome some behavioural hurdles.
He currently:
* Struggles with recall and does not reliably come back when called.
* Is highly reactive to other humans, children, bikes, prams, cars, and runners. This means he will bark, lunge, or become agitated in their presence. However, he will adjust quickly to other family/family member dogs, as we have noticed within our wider family who have dogs.
* Has a tendency to dig, so a secure garden is essential.
If you have a strong understanding of positive reinforcement training, ample time, and the dedication to work with a dog who needs significant guidance, he could thrive in your home. He deserves a chance to become a confident and well-adjusted companion.
