10 year old Welsh section d palomino mare for sale, she is NOT for a novice or a child she needs someone that can be firm and strong with her, I have owned Ellie for 5 years when I first got her you couldnât get near her but with a lot of time and money put into her she is now 10 times better then she ever was, but she is not perfect she does come with her quirks she is brilliant with kids but certainly not a kids pony! She doesnât like been tied up for to long you can for grooming etc but to long and she gets stressed out an she will pull away snap lead ropes etc, she is the type of horse she has to build the trust up with you first like for farriers etc she is ok for getting her feet done but has to trust first she only has 2 front shoes on her back hooves are lovely and strong. She has been professional schooled so has great 3 paces. She never bucks but if you are out on a hack and she starts to get stressed over something and your turning her the opposite way then she does have a tendency to rear itâs not very often but it does happen. She can also be ancy to be tacked up sheâs fine with bridal but a saddle sometimes she will circle and circle this just takes time and patience sheâs 10 year old but still acts like a baby, she doesnât box or trailer very well but again this will take time and patience and she would eventually get the hang of it, sheâs had a bad start so from getting her to how she is massively different, she wonât just go to anyone so you need to be knowledgeable and have the time. The only reason she is for sale is I do not have the time she needs and she is completely wasted with me, she will go in a mixed herd or just with mares sheâs not bothered she doesnât like been left alone she will run crazy and she doesnât like been stabled to long she will eventually settle if you ignore her. Feel free to ask me any question I have 100s of pictures and videos etc based northeast she is not a dangerous horse just needs a firm strong rider
