It’s with a very heavy heart that I’m looking for a forever home for Murphy\. Murphy is an entire male Lurcher with a lovely, gentle nature\. He absolutely loves people, is fantastic with children, and gets on well with other dogs\. He’s happiest mooching around the house, snoozing on a comfy bed, or heading out for a good run across the fields\. He enjoys quiet field walks much more than busy places, as he can find crowded environments overwhelming\. He has good recall in open spaces, although he can become distracted if he spots other people\. Murphy walks nicely on the lead but can pull a little at times, especially when he’s excited\. He’s great in the car and travels calmly\. He has mild separation anxiety, but he’s used to being left for sensible periods and has never been destructive or trashed the house\. He would ideally suit someone who is around a good amount of the time initially while he settles into his new routine\. Murphy is looking for a home where he’ll be treated as part of the family\. He loves nothing more than relaxing indoors after a good walk and is a real sofa companion\. **Please only enquire if you’re genuinely able to offer him a committed, loving home\.
