💔 Rescue Story:
🐶 Rikki’s young life began in hardship. He and his mother were found tied on short chains inside a dark shed, left alone with only a bowl of mouldy food while their “owners” went off on holiday for two whole weeks. Forgotten, starving, and frightened—it was thanks to brave neighbours and caring volunteers that they were rescued just in time.
💖 Now Rikki lives at a loving foster home with an elderly lady in a little village. Safe, fed, and loved at last, this gentle boy is slowly learning what kindness and safety feel like.
🐾 More About Rikki:
🐶 Rikki is pure love wrapped in soft fur. Hug-loving, people-oriented, and endlessly sweet, he adores being around his humans. He’s a cuddler, a kisser, and he’ll gladly press himself close just to feel that you’re near.
🐶 He gets on wonderfully with other dogs and even shows empathy and affection towards other animals, including a bird in his foster home! With cats, he sometimes wants to play-chase, but it’s all in fun—he’s got no aggression in him whatsoever.
🐶 He’s brilliant with children, gentle and joyful, always ready to join in the fun. He’s quick-witted and adapts easily to new routines and environments. He’s still learning to walk calmly on the lead, but he’s getting there—every walk is a new adventure to explore together.
🚗 Rikki travels well in the car and doesn’t get motion sickness. He eats both natural meals and dry food, with a healthy appetite and tail that never stops wagging.
🏡 Ideal Family:
🐶 Rikki will thrive in a warm and active home with someone who can shower him with love, attention, and games to make up for all the affection he missed as a pup. A garden would be a lovely bonus for him to explore, and a human who enjoys cuddles as much as he does would make him the happiest boy alive.
🐶 He’s a wonderful match for families with children, for couples, or even a loving single person—he just wants to be someone’s world.
🐶 Rikki is more than ready to start his new life. He’s clever, gentle, affectionate, and full of joy—a boy who sees the best in everyone, even after a hard start. All he asks for is love, and in return, he’ll give you his whole heart, his loyalty, and a smile every single day.
