This is Odin — our much-loved 9 months-old Toy poodle. It breaks our hearts to say that we’re looking to find him a new home, but it’s the right thing to do for him.
Odin is affectionate, loyal, and full of personality. He loves people, adores being involved in whatever you’re doing, and thrives on attention and play. He’s healthy, full of life, and has recently had a hormone implant (chemical neutering) that’s helped him settle and calm down a lot.
His reactivity to other dogs has improved significantly, and with the right handling and consistency, he continues to make great progress. He walks well on a slip lead and responds beautifully to confident, calm leadership. He just needs someone who can give him time, structure, and steady guidance.
We’ve had to face the reality that, with changes in work and family circumstances, we can’t give Odin the time and active lifestyle he truly deserves. It’s incredibly difficult for us — we’ve built a safe outdoor space for him and tried everything to make it work — but it wouldn’t be fair to keep holding on when he needs more.
We’re looking for a loving, committed home where Odin can thrive:
• A secure garden or space to roam
• No other pets
• No young children (he’s best suited to an adult-only or older family home)
• Ideally someone with experience handling large breeds
• Time each day for walks, play, and training
• Confidence to continue his progress with other dogs
He’s an incredible dog who just needs the right environment to shine. If you have the time, space, and heart to give Odin the life he deserves, we’d love to hear from you.
Ideally, we’d love for him to stay nearby and to stay in touch if possible — but our main priority is finding a home where he’ll be happy, fulfilled, and truly loved.
