These happy KC registered puppies are bred and reared by an animal health and welfare professional. Both parents meet The Kennel Club Best Practice Health Standard and have excellent temperaments.

I am an animal health and welfare professional lecturing in associated subjects (MSc PGCE). Both parents of the puppies meet The Kennel Club Best Practice Health Standard. At the time of posting this information, only one other litter in the UK was listed on the KC website with parents that met this standard. I am passionate about the health and happiness of my dogs and puppies.
These Kennel Club registered, well breed happy puppies are born and raised in the home, in a idyllic location on the outskirts of Cardiff.
HEALTH
Both parents are fully health tested. The results of these tests are published on the Kennel Club website. The parents do not have any health issues or allergies. The health test certificates for the results shown on line together with the additional DNA tests can be viewed during a visit.
A veterinary surgeon systemically health checks the puppies. This entails a physical examination from nose to tail. Checking vital signs, evaluating body condition, listening to heart and lungs, feeling lymph nodes, assessing eyes, ears and teeth as well as checking for any bone and joint abnormality. The new owners received the vets written confirmation of the health check.
SIRE & DAM - Ability and temperament.
Both mum and dad have strong show and working lines in their blood stretching back through many generations.
Dad as well as being a working gun dog is a junior show champion. He has a kind nature as well as being fit and healthy.
Mum is sired by a show champion who is also a working gun dog. Just like her mum she enjoys agility and is a fabulous family pet.
SOCIALISATION
The puppies are born and raised in the house and are accustomed to the usual noises, people visiting (including children) and our 3 indoor cats. The puppies are introduced to vaccinated dogs of various sizes.
From about 6 weeks the puppies play in the garden and are introduced to our horses, chickens and ducks which live on our land surrounding the house.
The puppies are gently handled from birth. The puppies have a trip in the car to and from the vets. Some puppies are taken into college for the students to see.
NEW HOME PACK
A full puppy pack of care information is emailed to the prospective new owner prior to the puppy being collected.

FOOD
At the moment Mum is being fed on Royal Canin mother and baby dog starter. The puppies will be weaned onto this. Royal Canin have a range of food for all life stages. I also mix in a little canned meat or a boiled egg just to make it more interesting.
PRICE
The cost of the puppy is £2000
A deposit of £200 is required to reserve a puppy. The final balance would be £1800
The puppies can be visited from the 8th September on.
The puppies will be ready to go to their new homes from 6th October. Flexible on collection date.
RESERVING A PUPPY
In order to apply to reserve a puppy or arrange a visit please provide your address and send photographs of your garden (including the fencing) and areas of the house the puppy will have access to. If there are things you intend to change before you collect the puppy please describe the changes. Please also provide any other information you feel is relevant.
