Mum Fern is a beautiful 2 year old Border Collie
This is Ferns first litter
Fern is incredibly affectionate and eager to please. She is very intelligent but is low drive and is more than happy to lay around in the kitchen despite her young age.
Due to Ferns laid back temperament she was retired early from working sheep. We think this makes her an absolutely wonderful calm addition to our family and we can see already that she has passed on her relaxed temperament to her offspring
Dad is our beautiful Moyen poodle Freddie
Freddie is also a very calm and gentle dog and has now produced three litters of Bordoodles for us with different females
All of the Bordoodles we have produced so far are doing great in their new homes, we have had incredible feedback which we are happy to share with prospective buyers
According to current research, environmental factors are thought to contribute to around 60-80% of the variability in hip dysplasia development, meaning that while genetics play a significant role, environmental factors such as traction in the whelping pen whilst nursing, can significantly influence the likelihood of developing hip dysplasia.
We make sure that there is always enough traction provided to avoid over extension of the joint and tissues during the crucial first weeks of development
