Josh is a 9 year old African Grey Parrot.
Josh is a healthy bird. He has had two vet checks in the last few months, both of which went well.
Generally, Josh is well behaved and knows most common commands, such as “step on" He usually listens but may occasionally respond with a firm "no" Josh needs a lot of attention he is used to being out of his cage for the majority of the day, ideally for at least 7 hours.
He likes his cage to be covered with a blanket at night and if you miss his bedtime don't worry he will remind you by yawning loudly.
He does fly, and his wings have not been clipped, He is very careful when flying and typically flies short distances, He also loves chasing feet on the floor he'll grab your foot (it can be painful!), say "ouch", and then burst into laughter.
Josh seems to be able to use a few words in context. These include:
* "Come on"
* "No" - when he doesn't want to do something or doesn't want you to
* "Ouch" - which he says when he bites you (though he usually gives plenty of warning first)
He generally doesn't bite and will give you signs, such as when he doesn't want to go into his cage and you keep insisting.
Bath time - Josh is used to regular baths, We usually pour some water into the bathtub, add a few plastic cups, and let him play.
Josh comes with his large cage and all his toys, bowls, UV light etc etc.
