Unfortunately, I’ve come to the decision that I don’t think my home is the right environment for her, and I think she’d be much happier somewhere quieter, ideally in a household without young children. Sage is genuinely the loveliest little girl. She’s black and white, incredibly sweet and has such a lovely personality once she feels comfortable. Being a rescue, she’s naturally quite hesitant and wary around new people and unfamiliar surroundings, so it does take her a little while to settle and learn to trust you. But once she does, she’s so affectionate and loving. I don’t think she’s necessarily unhappy with people, I just think the busy environment and having children around may be too much for her. She deserves somewhere she can properly relax, feel secure and come out of her shell without feeling overwhelmed. This isn’t a decision I’ve made lightly, but I want what’s best for Sage, and I genuinely believe she’d thrive in a calmer, quieter home. I’d really like to arrange her return if possible, as I want to make sure she ends up somewhere that’s the right fit for her. x
