This beautiful girl was saved (as a tiny puppy), together with her mother and siblings, by our friend and fellow rescuer Lumy, on a field near a godforsaken town - where their mother was a stray dog. She might have just been abandoned there, by some narrow minded owner, because she was pregnant…? You can see -attached here- a couple of pics taken then.
They all survived and have thrived, under Lumy’s care and they are now ready for a new life.
Our lovely girl weighs 16.7Kg (as of 12/04/2025), when she was last checked by our vets ; we think she will grow to around 23-25 Kg.
MARA was micro-chipped and fully vaccinated. We’ve just had her spayed, too.
She is a complete sweetheart - very gentle and affectionate. MARA is playful and very friendly with everybody - people and other dogs. We can also test her with cats - if required ; we are sure she’d be all right with them. At the moment, she is “mothering” a few orphan puppies. She is very careful and protective of them.
MARA would make a wonderful addition to a doggy loving family !

Home-Check (even done online, at times) is mandatory.
We do NOT supply dogs to non-genuine Dog-Loving people. There are all kind out there... can’t be too careful !
You must have your own garden and no children under 10 years old to adopt a dog from our rescue.
We do not supply work, assistance or service dogs, regardless of what noble/moral it would be !
Should you adopt her, MARA will reside as a PET in your Home and she will be well looked-after and loved !
You will also agree to keep in touch with us - so we can help with any issues.
Our preferred method of contact is over the phone or WhatsApp - as we work during the day, with limited access to emails ; it is also more expedient - we can exchange most information in one go. If you would like, we can have a video-chat so you can see MARA live, before meeting her.
We are a 100% genuine and transparent Rescue and are doing substantial efforts to save these lives. We are actively involved in neutering stray dogs and in finding Homes for them.
We reserve the right to ask any / different price / donation for our rescue dogs - depending on circumstances. In most cases, we are not covering the costs !
We keep in touch with all adopters (more than 500 families, so far). On request, we can obtain & provide very good references from any of them.
We receive a high number of pointless messages or calls and we do not afford wasting time…
Therefore, Please, Please - NO TIMEWASTERS !
