Maisy is a 5 year old Border collie who is looking for her forever family. Unfortunately, her previous family could no longer keep as she didn't get on with their other dog, so she came to us temporarily until her perfect home comes along.
She is a super sweet little girl but is looking for a very specific type of home as she does have some quirks.
She needs a home with no other female dogs. The majority she is fine with but some she reacts to big time. This is purely the only reason she isn't staying with us. She's been fine with all our boys. And she's fine with other dogs out on walks. But she isn't suited to living with another female dog.
She is great with our young kids and she loves people! She is the cuddliest girl and deserves a home where she can get lots of cuddles and snuggle up on a sofa.
She's got much better walking on lead, she's not perfect, but she doesn't pull too much anymore. A bit more training and she will have great lead manners.
She needs a lot of training on her recall as she has a tendency to bolt, so she can't go off lead.
She also needs a secure house as she can open doors (and does at given opportunity) and she needs a garden with fully secure 6ft fencing. She is an escape artist!
However, as collies go she's very low energy, she's crate trained and toilet trained and she's happy to be left alone for short periods of time.
She will make the most amazing family member for the right home.
