Meet Rocky, a beautiful Staffy x French Bulldog cross. We rescued Rocky from a difficult living situation in which he was neglected, underfed and hardly ever left outside (as well as other important issues). We just couldn't leave him living that way, so we had to save him and try and give him the best home possible.
In his short time with us Rocky has learnt so much! He knows lots of basic commands such as sit, wait and leave, as well as now being fully potty trained and able to stay alone for a couple of hours. He is an energetic little guy, who also loves napping. He loves affection and food. Rocky also loves going for walks and chasing sticks, as well as lazing in the sun.
Rocky will still need further training with mouthing and barking when he gets excited. He is generally good on the lead, but can pull at times. His recall is really good too when off the lead. He can be very timid with other dogs though, but will just need some encouraging.
We will need to make sure that you are genuine and have had experience with dogs and dog training before adopting Rocky. A house with a garden is also essential. We feel it would be best that Rocky doesn't go to a house with children under 13/14, this is only because of his mouthing /jumping.
The most important factor for us is that Rocky goes to a home that understands he needs time and dedication to his training. He is such a beautiful, clever and loving little soul who deserves nothing less than all of your love and affection in return. He had a rubbish start to life and hopefully this could be his fresh start.
