Copper is a beautifully marked red and white gypsy cob with plenty of bone and feather. A forward thinking chap he is proving to be intelligent and straightforward and showing a keen attitude towards work. He has been brought on slowly the past few months and has come on leaps and bounds, recently being backed without an issue.
He takes his confidence from his rider/handler and will do anything for a bit of food.
He has been long reined out on the towpath and has seen walkers, cyclists, dogs etc. Seen farm machinery, some traffic, sheep and other day to day items and goings on at the yard. Lunges well in walk, trot and halt. Backed and ridden out with more being done daily, snaffle mouthed, has not been strong or silly, he is well balanced for his age.
Leads nicely and easy to be caught, turns out in a mixed herd, small group or alone and is sensible in each situation, equally happy to be stabled. Good to groom and bath, stands nicely for the farrier. He was a star with the dentist and no wolf teeth were found.
He has real potential to be a lovely coloured for the showing classes, could be broken to drive easy enough. Would equally be a great all rounder type to have some real fun on with a little more work put in, he really would do any job asked of him. Ready for someone to bring on as their own.
