Poppy is a very friendly and sociable girl, looking to be reh-homed through no fault of her own, due to unforseen health issues i am unable to give poppy the life and home she deserves, she has grown up with and around cats, rabbits, guinea pigs and small children and has socialised well with all. She loves to be around people and can become quite distressed when left at home alone as a result, she would benefit from a home that has someone there at all times, ideal for a family on opposite shift patterns or a younger retired person, she loves to play but is better with harder dog toys, any stuffed ones don't last very long! Poppy is very food orientated so responds well to treat reward based training but also has it's disadvantages as she is abit of a bin raider! But I have found a simple lock on the bin has stopped this issue. Poppy is very energetic and walks better on a no pull harness, she can be very head strong especially when excited on walks so recall training is still on ongoing issue. Poppy also loves her snuggles on the sofa with her favourite people, She is a beautiful dog with a beautiful nature and given the right amount of time and attention has the ability to become an amazing companion for someone.
