Due to an extremely difficult change in circumstances, we have made the heartbreaking decision to seek a loving forever home for our beautiful family dogs, Rumi and Tala. We never imagined finding ourselves in this position, and this is not a decision we have taken lightly. We are in absolutely no rush to rehome them. Our priority is finding a home that can offer them the same wonderful quality of life they have enjoyed with us, or better. We would very much like them to remain together, as they are the best of friends. About Rumi and Tala Rumi is a three-year-old male Sprocker Spaniel, and Tala is a two-year-old female Labrador. Both are fantastic dogs with wonderful personalities and so much love to give. They have been with us since they were puppies and have grown up in a busy, loving family home alongside young children, cats and rabbits, with whom they are both excellent. They are well-trained, affectionate and adaptable. They love long walks, swimming and exploring, and would ideally enjoy a good, stimulating walk each day. Equally, they are accustomed to the natural variability of family life and settle happily on quieter days or when routines change. Both are crate-trained and settle very well in their crates overnight and during the day when needed. The home we're looking for We are seeking experienced, responsible and genuinely committed owners who understand the time, financial responsibility and lifelong commitment involved in caring for two dogs. Above all, we want Rumi and Tala to be loved, stimulated, included in family life and given the stability they deserve. Having already faced the disruption of leaving their family, we would hate for them to experience another move. We would love to remain in occasional contact with their new owners, hear how they are getting on, and offer any advice or support that might help them settle into their new home. Rehoming arrangements We have set a rehoming fee to encourage serious enquiries from people who understand the responsibility of dog ownership. This is not about making a profit, and we would consider flexibility for an exceptional home. We would like to meet prospective owners in person, introduce them to Rumi and Tala, and visit their home to ensure the environment is a suitable and loving one. Please tell us a little about yourself, your household, your experience with dogs and the life you could offer Rumi and Tala when getting in touch. This is an incredibly difficult decision for our family, and we will only proceed if we are completely confident that we have found the right home for them both.
