Tigger (originally Ruta) is 14 months old medium-sized girl with a bright, bouncy personality. She is affectionate, intelligent, and full of enthusiasm, with plenty of energy to enjoy an active lifestyle. She will do best in a home that understands lively young dogs and can guide her towards her full potential.

Like her namesake, Tigger has a lot of energy to burn off. She enjoys playing vigorously with tug toys and can get overstimulated. Tigger can be a little mouthy in her excitement but understands when told to stop. Tigger is food motivated and a fast learner, perfect for a family who are willing to put the time in to help her become the best dog she can be. Tigger would thrive in a lively family with older children where she can receive lots of love and attention. She is happy being at home alone, but will need some time to adjust to her new surroundings.
Tigger is comfortable with other dogs, but would benefit from a steady introduction to any new four legged friends. She will need a slow and planned introduction to any feline housemates."
📖 Rescue Story
Tigger’s story began when she was the sole surviving pup of her litter, born to an abandoned mother who fought to keep her safe. Eventually rescued and brought to safety, she grew into a bright and happy dog. Adopted in January, she made great progress, but her strong need for attention and her difficulty living peacefully with the resident dog meant she needed a fresh start. She is now in foster, enjoying new experiences and ready for the right match.

Tigger lives up to her name—she loves to bounce and has energy to spare. She thrives on long walks where she can explore and enjoys vigorous play with tug toys. She can become a little mouthy in excitement but responds when told to stop. Highly food-motivated and quick to learn, she’s ideal for an owner who enjoys training and engaging with their dog. She is affectionate and loves attention, but she also settles happily when left alone once she’s adjusted to her surroundings. Tigger is comfortable around other dogs but benefits from careful, steady introductions. She should not live with cats and would be best in a home without small pets.

Tigger is fully healthy. Vaccinated, microchipped. Spaying will be arranged and covered by rescue.
All dogs are C.Brucella tested before the trip (owners will receive a licensed laboratory test certificate).
