Cornish Doodles are a small, ethical breeder of Petite Mini and Medium sized Bernedoodles and Aussie Mountain Doodles (AMD’s) located in beautiful West Cornwall. We breed our lovely puppies for health, character and temperament, and because we absolutely love them!
I am a Zoologist with a special interest in canine behaviour, genetics and nutrition and I use my extensive reading and experience to inform my breeding program.
It is our primary aim to prepare our pups for life outside of our home and to make the transition from our home to your home as easy and as stress free as possible for both you and your new puppy. We operate a hugely successful positive reinforcement training programme before they leave us which includes:
Beginning crate and house training
Resource guarding prevention
Sitting to ask (instead of jumping up)
Discouraging human-to-dog rough play and biting
Desensitisation to fireworks, thunderstorms, sudden loud noises
Meeting lots of different people of all ages
Introduction to grooming - we have our own in-house salon with professional-grade grooming equipment.
We whelp and raise your puppy in a warm, comfortable home environment in our large country kitchen so that they are used to all the hustle and bustle of a busy family home. We enrich their environment with plenty of toys, lots of space to run around in and lots of positive interaction with us, our two daughters (aged 7 and 13) and our other adult dogs.
We put a huge amount of care and thought into how we run our breeding program. Our dogs are fully genetically health tested and we continually assess our pups for character and temperament as they grow and develop so that we can better match a puppy to your family set-up and lifestyle.
Our wonderful American import Mini Bernedoodle ‘Inca’ had her second litter with our Aussie Bernedoodle stud ‘Teddy’
Inca has a beautiful tri-colour curly non-shedding coat. She is playful and attentive and loves swimming in the sea and chasing her ball. She is a fantastic girl to have around the house and loves hanging out with our children and having her ears scritched. Inca stands at approx 19” to the shoulder which is a really nice medium size with a lovely blocky Bernese-type build.
Our stud Teddy is an absolutely stunning Aussie Bernedoodle (Aussiedoodle x Bernedoodle) or Australian mountain Doodle. He has a wavy, non-shedding coat with intense red tan points and merle colouration. Both his parents were imported from the USA. Teddy stands at around 18" at the shoulder and weighs 19kg. He is super friendly, happy, affectionate and just such a joy to have around the home.
Our pups really do make fantastic family pets and we have successfully placed many pups in family homes in this country and abroad. They are incredibly bright, easy to train and love human company.
All of our pups come with:
A full health check by a practising vet
A two year health guarantee against debilitating congenital conditions.
Their first vaccination - NOT Leptospirosis (because of the high rate of adverse reactions).
A written contract
Are microchipped

We currently have four pups looking for new homes:
Atlas - Medium sized Male Bernedoodle from Inca and Teddy’s The Nautical litter. Atlas is a beautiful chunkster with beautiful colouration - along with Calder he looks like a mini Bernese. He is very friendly and confident and should reach around 18kg when fully grown.
Calder - medium to large sized Male Bernedoodle from Inca and Teddy’s The Nautical Litter. Calder is very similar to his brother Atlas. He will be slightly larger and should reach around 22-24kg when fully grown. He is very beautiful, gregarious, into everything and is just your typical chunky puppy!
Guppy - medium to large sized Female Bernedoodle from Inca and Teddy’s the Nautical Litter. Guppy has a lovely calm big-dog energy about her. She loves a shoulder rub and will stand quite calmly enjoying a massage. She is just a wonderful girl with a curly, non-shedding coat. We expect her to grow to around 22-24kg when fully grown.
Cornish Doodles Puppy School - £595 per week.
For those who are perhaps a little less confident about bringing a new puppy home or perhaps the timing for collection is not quite right we offer an excellent head-start training programme for our puppies to help you through those first tricky weeks with your new puppy. More details available on request.
Please get in touch for an application form and further information about our wonderful program. In order to reserve a spot on the waiting list we require a £300 deposit. We don’t accept visits to meet us and the pups until we have received a completed and signed application form and a deposit. We are very happy to arrange a video call so that you can see our set-up and virtually meet the pups and their mums before paying a deposit.
