This here is my beautiful rainbow boa (Colombian) this baby is aged between 3-4 years as far as I know. It was hard to tell as I rescued this from an owner who didn’t care for the baby snake and it lived in a rotting vivarium.
His name is skittles (taste the skittles…. taste the rain-boa) 🤭 - corny but fun
I have a 4ft viv and it’s mainly “plastic” as it saves it from rotting due to the fact this snake needs humidity.
again as far as I know, i think this is a male. the woman never told me and I did a few observations which would tell me it’s a male. (not 100% sure though)
he is ever so gentle and easy to handle. loves a good wrap around the neck (pardon the pun) 🤭 and relax his head on top of your head. loves a soft surface and loved to chill in my teddy bear throw. he’s very nosy, loves to explore and likes to have a good look around him. I’ve had 5 snakes prior and he is by far the most gentle and friendliest snake out there.
also he’s a big softy who loves neck scratches!
eats, poops and sheds well! easy clean up too as this boas bowel movement is hard.
sadly I have to let him go and find a warm loving home for him as we now have a puppy and it’s difficult to find time to handle him as much as he needs to be.
he will come with the full Viv set up and I’ll throw him his first lunch.
