Both Rose-Crowned Conures are 18 months old, closed-ringed (2025 rings), and DNA-tested males.
The Pearly Conure is also male. Although not DNA-tested, it was previously part of a pair, and the female was DNA-tested before she flew away. Therefore, I am confident that this bird is male.
They were hand-tamed in the past but have not been handled for a long time, so they are a little shy at first. However, they are very friendly and curious birds, and with some time and attention they will make wonderful companions. They could also be suitable for breeding.
They are free-flying birds and enjoy spending a couple of hours each day flying around outside their cage. They usually stay on top of the cage and return inside by themselves.
All birds are healthy, fully feathered, clean, and well cared for. They are kept indoors in a hygienic environment.
They are generally quiet birds and do not make unnecessary noise, especially at night when they are completely silent. They are gentle in nature and do not require heavy maintenance.
