DO NOT SELL TO UNDER 18s 2. RIGHT TO REFUSE SALE It is really important to me that my bunnies go to homes where they will be happy and looked after properly- I hold the right to refuse any sale. I also hold the right to refuse any sale if you are rude, disrespectful etc. 3. NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT TO RESERVE- NO DEPOSIT, NO RABBIT I operate a ‘waiting list’. Babies will be ready to reserve at 4/5weeks old, once sex has been determined; those who are on my waiting lists will be contacted first and any babies still available will be advertised on this page. Unfortunately, I will not always be able to guarantee your favourite from the litter as I will sometimes keep babies myself to improve my breeding. In order to reserve a rabbit a non-refundable deposit will secure. Rabbits will not be held without a deposit. A deposit of £20 per rabbit is payable either by PayPal or bank transfer at the time of reservation. Requesting to reserve a rabbit immediately and paying a deposit ‘later’, ‘in a few days’ or ‘on pay day’ is not acceptable sorry. Deposits are also non-refundable unless something was to happen in my care. 4. NO SWAPPING Please do not reserve a rabbit unless you are 100% happy with your choice. Deposits are non-transferable. There will always be a ‘nicer’, ‘prettier’, ‘calmer’, ‘different colour’ bunny looking for a home around the corner but swapping for another is not an option. Should you want to swap your rabbit for another then your deposit will be lost and a new deposit will be required. 5. PLEASE BE AWARE THAT.. I WILL NOT sell rabbits over the Christmas or Easter. I will also not sell rabbit as ‘Suprises!’ Unless I’m completely satisfied that the ‘parents’ are knowledgeable and will be the caretakers of the rabbit(s). Rabbit are a 10 year+ commitment like a cat or a dog so please think this through before purchasing a rabbit. They are NOT starter pets- the quiet nature of rabbits can cause people to see them as low maintenance, they aren’t! Please research about them before considering a rabbit(s) to join your family. 6. COLLECTION Please arrive promptly on your agreed time to collect your rabbit or advise of any delay or change of circumstances as soon as possible. I will not sell rabbits until they are at least 8-10 weeks of age and until I am totally happy that they are ready to go to a new home, if I am not happy with their development I will keep them for an extra couple of weeks and you will be advised accordingly. The bunny that you purchase will be friendly and healthy when you collect it and I hold no responsibility for the rabbits’ health and wellbeing after the first 24hours. Bunnies will come home healthy, friendly and tame and will leave with a care sheet, birth certificate and ‘baby bundle’ which will include change over food, toy and photos from birth and a lifetime of advice. Please bring a suitable carrier to transport your bunny. Plastic cat carriers are preffered. Changeover food will be provided to wean your rabbit off of for the first 7 days. Please note that I DO  accept couriers:  WE ARE CURRENTLY DOING NON CONTACT COLLECTIONS DUE TO COVID 19 7. NON COLLECTION Should you fail to collect your bunny on an agreed date/time you risk losing your deposit(s) and the rabbit(s) being re-advertised. Time-wasters will not be tolerated. Please take note of the collection date at the time of reservation, rabbits need to be collected promptly and certainly within 5 days of their leave date. Rabbits not collected within 5 days of their collection date will incur a boarding fee of £5 per bunny per night. This fee covers food and hutch changes. HEALTH AND WELL-BEING I am responsible for a rabbits health and well-being in my care. Before a rabbit leaves for their new home a health and well-being check will be done with you to ensure the rabbit is fit and healthy. You are also responsible for checking that the bunny is healthy and fit to leave too. This will include confirming the condition of your bunnies eyes, nose, teeth, nails, ears, coat etc- I will go through all this before your bunny leaves. Once a rabbit leaves my care you become responsible for the rabbit’s health and well-being and any problems that may arise down the line are not my responsibility to resolve which include vetinary fees. Please consider a pet insurance to ensure any medical expenses are covered. Any problems arising during the first 24 hours the bunny should be returned and a full refund of the cost of the bunny will be honoured.

Buyer's checklist for rabbits

1

Be responsible, do your research first

Getting rabbits is a massive commitment, so make sure you have researched all of their general needs, and those specific to their breed fully and have the time and commitment necessary to care for the rabbits. You can read our detailed information guide about rabbits for potential new rabbit owners. If you are looking for a rabbit to keep your rabbit company remember that they will both need to be neutered and that a male / female pair works best. Rabbits are a long term commitment as they can live up to 10 years.

2

Rabbits need a friend and space

Rabbits should never be kept alone, they need the company of other (neutered) rabbits. They need space to stand, hop, jump and run, and safe places for hiding. The absolute minimum space required 24/7 for up to 2 average sized rabbits is area 3m x 2m x 1m high.

3

Health check & welfare

It can be difficult for the average person to check if a rabbit is healthy or not. The seller should be willing to let you take the rabbit to a vet of your choice for a health check and return the pet within 48 hours for a full refund if there are health issues. If the rabbit has already been health checked, make sure you have this documented and phone their vet. Also remember rabbits need to be neutered so that they can live with other rabbits, and vaccinated annually to protect them against myxomatosis and RVHD1 and 2. Register with a rabbit friendly veterinary Practice. We would advise that you read the following article containing rabbit care and welfare information provided by the Rabbit Welfare Association and Fund (RWAF).

4

Report, don’t support!

If you believe a rabbit may be subject to irresponsible breeding, do not “rescue” the rabbit by rehoming it. Walk away and report the seller to us immediately.

5

Rabbits must be 8 weeks when collected

Rabbits must be at least 8 weeks old and fully weaned before they can leave their mothers. Most responsible sellers will keep their rabbits longer than this before they let them go to new homes. Make sure you take some of the food with you so you can change over to your own food gradually.
