Young (nearly 2 years old) Spur-Thighed (testudo graeca) tortoises for sale
Hatched AUGUST/SEPTEMBER 2023, carapace 85 to 95mm. This species are Annex A and must have an Article 10 CITES certificate to be legally sold. These all have CERTS certificates, copies will be provided.

These tortoises spent last summer daytime in a protected garden run for their safety and during the winter were in a Tortoise table with appropriate heating and lighting (UVB). The parents of these are available to for viewing, these generally have free reign of the garden when they are not hibernating.
We will require confirmation that potential purchasers are familiar with the requirements for tortoise care, including pictures of summer and proposed winter accommodation. We reserve the right to refuse sale if necessary. Spur-Thighed tortoises are relatively easy to care for, but there are fundamental pitfalls. Tortoises must not be kept in a vivarium. There are many websites that provide guidance for tortoise care, the Tortoise Trust being one example. We will provide some guidance notes giving some care information and on pitfalls to watch out for.
