Our sweet old POLLY ended in a communal pound after her loving owner died and her inheritors sold the house. Our fellow rescuer found POLLY shivering behind those dirty & cold bars and she couldn’t leave her there.
Most adopters are looking for a cute / cuddly young dog, but we cannot discriminate them by age or how cute they are.
Are we all beautiful and healthy ? Maybe not.
Are we all young and kind ? Definitely not !
Yet, we receive help and kindness even when we are old and not so well looking. Why shouldn’t these lovely souls be given a chance, too ?!...
We’ve had POLLY vaccinated and spayed and she will have a comprehensive set of Blood Tests before rehoming her - for everybody’s peace of mind. She has no health issues !
Still a bit shy, but smart and well behaved, POLLY is friendly with everybody - people and other dogs. She is submissive and, in spite her past experiences, she loves human affection.
She is a medium size girl, weighing around 24Kg.

Home-Check (even done online, at times) is mandatory.
We do NOT supply dogs to non-genuine Dog-Loving people. There are all kind out there... can’t be too careful !
You must have your own garden and no children under 10 years old to adopt a dog from our rescue.
We do not supply work, assistance or service dogs, regardless of what noble/moral it would be ! Should you adopt her, POLLY will reside as a PET in your Home and will be well looked-after and loved !
You will also agree to keep in touch with us, for years to come - so we can help with any issues.
Our preferred method of contact is over the phone or WhatsApp - as we work during the day, with limited access to emails ; it is also more expedient - we can exchange most information in one go.
We are a 100% genuine and transparent Rescue and are doing substantial efforts to save these lives. We reserve the right to ask any / different price / donation for our rescue dogs or cats - depending on circumstances. In most cases, we are NOT covering the costs !
We keep in touch with all adopters (more than 500 families, so far). On request, we can obtain & provide good references from any of them.
We receive a high number of pointless messages or calls and we do not afford wasting time…
So, Please, Please - NO TIMEWASTERS !
