Poochons, also known as Bichpoo, Bichon Poodle, are a cross between a purebred Bichon Frise and a purebred Miniature Poodle, although sometimes a Toy Poodle can be used in a breeding programme. Since these little dogs first appeared on the scene in the 1990s, they have become one of the most popular modern cross breeds, and for good reason. The Poochon has inherited the intelligence of its parent breeds, as well as its charming looks and loyal, affectionate nature, which in short means that it makes a wonderful companion and family dog in households where the children are a little older.
