My journey with Standard Poodles began with a beautiful chocolate girl named Daphne – my first family dog as an adult and the one who will forever be “the best dog” in my heart. Daphne was my constant through life’s biggest moments: the birth of my daughter, a divorce, years as a single mum, house moves, career progression, and even vetting my new husband!
She wasn’t just a pet; she was family, my confidante, and my anchor. Because of Daphne, I fell completely in love with Standard Poodles, and now I can’t imagine ever having another breed.
Today, I’m lucky enough to share my life with three incredible Standard Poodle girls, and they continue to bring joy, laughter, and unconditional love every single day.
