We have a beautiful Red Cocker spaniel who we decided to have a litter with this year. I have had experience in the past with our Bichon frise, who we allowed 2 litters. Its a lot of work but I have loved seeing my dogs become mums. Nellie has been a fantastic wee mum and had no problems with her pregnancy of taking care of her pups. There is no such thing as personal space with a spaniel, so hope you have lots of patience.
