I am a small scale hobby breeder with 40+ years experience raising healthy, happy pups. I have extensive knowledge about puppy rearing and have a passion for producing puppies from well bred, calm and friendly parents. About us; My husband and I are a sociable couple. We enjoy walking with our 6 resident dogs. They are 2 Cocker Spaniels and 4 Cockapoos. Our house is full of family and friends most weekends and our dogs love that. We love to cook and share the yummy food we produce. We both enjoy renovating our current home and also love helping our grown up children with theirs too. We have a large garden and additional paddock here so there’s plenty of space for us, 6 dogs and our ever growing clutch of grandchildren. About our pups; The girls I breed from are carefully chosen from litters that I have bred myself and I only choose sires that carry characteristic traits that I want passed on to the pups. My Cocker Spaniel pups are 3rd generation for me in my current line and my Cockapoo’s are 7th generation and descend from my very first Cocker Spaniel over 18 years ago. I work very hard to make sure my pups have the best start in life. I start crate and house training here with me, I think crate training here is much easier on the pup and makes the transition to a new home much less stressful for all involved as the pups are already accustomed to a properly structured nighttime routine. It’s very much nicer to have a pup that’s clean and mostly dry at night. I offer nonjudgmental help and support to new puppy homes throughout the settling in period and beyond.
