I would like a mild tempered dog my son could walk locally (countryside and lots of walks) to gain his independence and a friend for me. He's 22 with severe autism. There is a large garden where there will be 2 bantum hens in an enclosed coop with enclosed run. I do not feel able to house-train a dog or continue their house-training as we have carers that come into the house and this would be unfair on them. We live in a super quiet and safe area. lots of walks here. we 'walk' (with me using a power chair) in the countryside a lot for fun. It seemed a shame not to take a dog.
