This is a small, independently run hamster rescue. We usually have 1-2 rescues in our care at one time looking for their forever home. Here at treasured paws we follow UK guidelines when it comes to hamster care which means our hamsters will never be rehomed to a cage smaller than 80x50cm although on some occasions we may request larger if we assess the needs of the individual hamster and feel they need more space to live contently. All hamsters should have access to fresh water daily and a balanced diet including seed mix and fresh vegetables. Your hamster also needs an appropriately sized wheel, 28cm+ for a Syrian and 20cm+ for dwarf species. A sand bath should be placed in the cage for your hamster to groom themselves.
