Description

Needing to rehome our 11 month old German Shepherd x Staffy x Bullmastiff due to work commitments. We have had her 7 months, she is a loving dog and loves nothing more than to curl up at the side of you and sleep, she has been in a household with children ranging between 8 and 13 and has shown no aggression, very kissy and giddy, and will jump up at them and for this reason alone I would say a home with older children 10+ or no children would be better suited. Due to me having to now be office based instead of working from home it means im having to leave her approx. 8hrs a day and due to seperation anxiety she has become terribly destructive to my kitchen woodwork! Literally anything she can get a hold of she will chew and has taken up bin diving! She is crate trained but if I keep her in the crate she occasionally soils it so I dont like to keep her in it long periods, other than she loves to sleep in it and doesn't mind if the door is open or closed. This has only started since being alone. She loves walks but can jump up at you mid walk and she doesn't like cats, she attempted to attack ours twice which resulted in us having to rehome him, she isn't keen in being in the same proximity of other dogs too but will walk past them quite fine when out walking. She needs a loving and understanding home where time can be invested in her and someone who has the time to put the work in to her as she will be a fantastic family member with the right training. I have spoken with a professional dog trainer who has advised these are common traits with some breeds and not signs of aggression but do need to be worked on. Id sooner be upfront on how she is now as I wouldn't be in a position to take her back should you change your mind once taken her. She is house trained but hasn't mastered letting you know, rarely an accident will happen but letting her out often prevents this. She is really loved and her personality is so cheeky, I would want the person who takes her to really want her and invest in her
